Sa Pedrera, also known as Atlantis, is a former quarry where stone was extracted for the buildings of Ibiza Town. Today it’s well known for the mystical atmosphere surrounding it. Facing west, it offers beautiful sunsets that light up the carved rock throughout the site.
A former sandstone quarry where hippies once carved various figures into the rock. There are several natural pools. We recommend bringing plenty of water, as the climb back up is tough. A hiking route nearby leads to the Torre d’es Savinar, also known as the Pirate’s Tower.
