Santa Eulària sits on Ibiza’s east coast and takes its name from the island’s only real river, the Riu de Santa Eulària. The town is considered one of the most family-friendly destinations on the island, with a long beachfront promenade, a well-kept marina, and generally calmer beaches than those on the west side.
Rising above the town centre is the Puig de Missa, a hill topped with a whitewashed 16th-century church and one of the island’s oldest defence towers. Nearby, in Es Canar, the well-known Punta Arabí hippy market runs every Wednesday.
